WHAT'S TOWEL MAGIC®?
"Towel Magic®" is a style of using towels or other fabric materials to create works such as flowers, cakes, dolls and animals, with no cutting or sewing required, similar to traditional Japanese origami.
Organized by a Japanese pharmacist Chiyoko Urabe in Japan, Towel Magic has been recognized as a unique communication tool as well as a fancy but simple handicraft.
Currently, 26 instructors teach Towel Magic mainly in Hiroshima, Chugoku district in Japan.

TOWEL MAGIC is...
Practical. No extra tools required. All you need is a piece of fabric and a rubber band. Most people, especially moms, happen to carry small towels, or burp clothes in their bags. Use any kind of fabric and practice the magic both in and out.
Universal.
From babies to elderlies, anyone can enjoy the art of Towel Magic. Integrating an aspect of art therapy into physical rehabilitation, we also provide specifically designed Towel Magic® Rehabilitation programs for those in need.
Sustainable.
Having small kids around or physical challenges, you may have a difficult time concentrating, and making detailed artworks. With Towel Magic, no cutting or sawing is required, so you can't go wrong. Unfold the towel and start over anytime. Plus, use the towel to wipe tables, your face, and baby's hands. You may even want to wash your work once in a while. Enjoy creating another masterpiece with a fresh clean towel.

SEMINAR
With a focus on the communication process and the distinctive features
of Towel Magic (practicality, universality, sustainability) rather than
making art itself, some associates lecture at various seminars. The use
of Towel Magic within seminars will bring a unique experience to the audience.
